AAP District President Rouf Ahmad Sheikh Assists Flood-Hit Areas in Anantnag

Anantnag, Sept 3: Amid the ongoing flood-like situation in parts of Anantnag, Rouf Ahmad Sheikh, District President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), on Wednesday visited several affected areas to review the ground situation and extend support to residents.

Rouf said that he stands firmly with the people in this difficult time and assured that every possible effort is being made to provide assistance. In a proactive move, he personally oversaw the use of JCB machines to clear choked canals and small streams, helping ease water flow and prevent further damage in low-lying areas.

Local residents appreciated the timely intervention, stating that such efforts have brought relief amid rising water levels and continuous rainfall.
