SHOPIAN,18TH, DECEMBER 2024 :In continuation of the efforts to eradicate the Menace of Drugs from the society, District Police Shopian arrested one more drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Keller.
Today Police Station Keller received an information that one person namely Gh Mohammad Parray S/O Ab Ahad Parray R/O Chowan Keller has concealed Charas like contraband substance in his residential house. Consequent upon this information a police Party from Police Station Keller along with Executive Magistrate raided the said residential house. During search contraband substance 41 Grams Charas was recovered and accordingly the said person was arrested. A case, FIR No. 48/2024 under relevant Sections of the NDPS Act, has been registered at Police Station Keller. Further investigation is underway to unearth the forward and backward linkages of the arrested individual. The operation was meticulously executed by SHO Keller under the supervision of SSP Shopian Shri Anayat Ali Chowdhary-IPS.
