Security review meet chaired by Amit Shah begins at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 08 (KNO): Security review meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah began at the Raj Bhavan in Srinagar with Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and other top security officials in attendance, officials said.

An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the meeting is being held in the auditorium hall of the Raj Bhavan by Home Minister Amit Shah.

He said that Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Home secretary, director Intelligence Bureau, Army Chief, GoC Northern Command, deputy chief of Army staff, GoC 15 corps, GoC 16 corps, GoC 09 corps, Jammu and Kashmir chief secretary, J&K DGP among others are also present in the meeting.

“The Home Minister will review the security scenario, law and order situation and other security relates aspects in the Kashmir division with the Lt Governor and other top security officials,” he said.

Amit Shah arrived in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday for a three-day visit. Earlier today, the Home Minister also chaired a development review meeting along side Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah—(KNO)
